fixing the seaclone skimmer

i have a 150 gallon seaclone protein skimmer and it makes way to much bubbles and its disturbing my corals and othe inverts....does n e one know how to fix this problem other than getting a new...

i dont think it matters if its rain in the city or not because most of the rain comes from the ocean. i agree with brad too just rinse it with salt water and use it
