Anyone know what this is?

Is on the hose leading into my sump within the sock. Looks like algae except that it was hard. Was not there a few days ago when I changed that sock.:question:3986

Just setup a new Captive Purity RO/DI last weekend and intially the TDS meter measured ~172 ppm on the water IN, and 0 ppm on water OUT.
