i make my own fish food. I use seafood medley, basically thaw it and then use blender to chop it. Then go back to the freezer again. Been doing that for months now and notice nothing but good effects...

when i have my 33 g, i survive by using DI tap water filter good for few months use.. but if you are planning to get bigger invest on a used or new RO/DI units less hassle in the end..:lol:
