+1. I've found even some of the easy plants (cabomba, hygrophila, etc.) need the extra light to do well... I wouldn't do another planted tank without at least a pair of T5HOs over it. Algae problems...

I wouldn't worry about it, probably a bacterial bloom from the organics left in the rock (yes, there will be some). I've had FW tanks get cloudy during the initial cycle, seems logical enough.

Today the open brain ate some mysis and was very puffy... it's amazing how big these guys can expand, and I don't think it was expanded as far as it could either. It has a fair amount more red on it...
