Try to get a hold of Ivan at Aquaria.ca. They said they were looking at getting a dual 250 watt DE fixture a while ago. They may have it by now.

Hey Cindy, I thought they might give you some trouble. It took mine three weeks to open up even a little after those problems I was having. Don't worry, I'll hook you up next time your in town.

Saving the Amazon
I was emailed a petition to save the Amazon rain forest from their congress. If a bill is passed it will reduce the present size of the rain forest by another 50%. How can I go about uploading such a...

I second that. Sometimes you get a build up of calcium and/or other crap that needs to be cleaned out. Maxi jets are particluarly bad for that in my tank.

Its hard to say I haven't setup the new tank yet. Its also hard to say what 10 lbs of rock even looks like. It may be a couple of days before I finally figure it out, but I'll need at least 10lbs.

I've always had lots of extras laying around so I can't really tell. I thought that if there were enough extras they wouldn't fight.

I have a digital bathroom scale. I could just put the rock in a bucket on the scale and subtract whatever the bucket weighs.

Do you think my dwarf lionfish might be a culprit? I've seen them eat shrimp but a hermit sounds a bit hard to handle. Plus I've only had him back for 2 weeks and he eats frozen now.

6" windermere fans
I picked up a 6" windermere clip on style fan from Canadian tire for $7.00 last week. Last night I tried it out and it was dead silent at speed 1, with a mild bit of noise at speed 2, you probly...

Those skimmers should work within the first day. if you aren't getting any skimmate you might want to make some adjustments.

I'm pretty sure its from the O ring. A drip of water every 20-30 seconds comes from the seam on the intake side of the DI canister. I checked the O ring and there are no visible defects, and I was...

I had a 54 corner and loved how it would magnify things that were further in the back. They're a pain in the a$$ to put lighting over, at least mine was. The 92 is a bit bigger so it shouldn't be as...

I have a small leak from an "O" ring for my DI unit. Its not worth really sending it back, can I use teflon tape on the threads to seal it?
