If you have a water cooler already, go without the resevior, and just use the jug from the water cooler for your drinking/cooking water. Thats what I do.

I don't have enough room under my tank to do a bottom overflow. How well do side overflows work? I would think it would work fine, but be a bit noisier, and harder to controll the noise.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure that I'm going to take this deal. So I found the add in the buy and sell. It sounds like a ballast, reflector, mogul, and bulb for $185. the guy had it over a frag tank...
