Re: Moisture on windows
Sounds expensive. If you have forced air heating in a dry winter climate, as we do in Edmonton, you can disable or adjust the humidifier on your furnace to reduce moisture in the air. Much cheaper...

Re: Bubbles
Your bubbles are a mystery to me. I can't see why feeding the tank would cause bubbles. That's never happened to me. Maybe someone else can shine a light on your bubble problem. How long has the...

Tony,

Re: Ph
KH of 10.2 is okay. Someone correct me if I am wrong here, but KH between 8 and 11 is great  pH of 7.7 is low. As I said in my post on your other thread, get more O2 into the tank room....

Re: Ph
My guess is that your pH would have dropped even lower had you not added buffer. pH normally drops overnight. The larger the pH drop, the lower the alkalinity would be in your tank.
Here's a...

Re: PH buffer
pH will generally be higher during the day when the lights are on, being highest just before lights out. At night, pH drops and will be lowest just before lights on.
Alkalinity affects pH as...

Re: powerhead
If the air in the tank room is high in CO2, the tank will reflect that by having a lower pH overall. However, if you have windows open during the day and closed at night, pH will be normal during...
