Well, I have given up on the Kick ick treatment. I saw very little signs of improvement over the past week, and I didn't want to wait until they were too far gone before hyposalinity. So I've set up...

Yes, the rains were, or should I say are pretty localized. Its still coming down too. I guess the weather fronts on all sides are just holding the moisture here, until there is no more moisture left!...

If the MH is at the front of the tank will there be any rocks and corals under the light? There may be some light spilage outside of the tank, but that is determined more by the reflector and...

THe problem isn't with how deep the tank is. 150-175 watt will do nicely on a tank that is 20 inches deep, with SPS put high up you could grow some of that too. The light spred from only 1 MH bulb...

I'm thinking of upgrading to a single 400 watt MH from my current 250watt. Can someone tell me what a balast goes for? I'll get a new bulb and use my existing reflector.

Lee, I just bought the regal tang about 3 weeks ago. There wasn't any spots on it at the LFS but with the move and seeing a lionfish as one of your tankmates, I think it was just stress. Lots of...

We really did need the water as stated above. In the past 10 years (since the last floods) Calgary has dried up to all but a desert. I drive by the Bow river everyday and even though the rain has...

Eveytime I've been there they have had lots of everything, SPS, LPS, softies, tangs, angel fish, and others. Perhaps you were just unlucky?

My fool proof 10 gallon tank moving method:

1. Open bedroom door
2. Pick up tank
3. Walk over to the bedroom
4. Put down tank.
