algae tank what to feed??
Mostly the tank is being set up to grow calupara in as food for my tang as the pig loves this stuff.

Nope it is a totaly separate tank.. Don't want to take a chance of adding any extra food source problems into the Display after my bout with cyno..

I don't know about up north but I purchased 100lbs of sugar sized silica blasting sand at Menards for $12 US... Nice stuff..

Yeah me too.. I have OD NO and am thinking about HH.. I hear all of the benefits of using MH. I know you must have a real good reason. Color, Growth Rate, ETC.. Just courious..

Can feather dusters hurt coral?
I have a bunch of them and they seem to mulitply like crazy.. When some fellow reefers see them I always have to get out a piece of rock for them..They are good to have in your tank..

AYR-FOIL as reflector
as for sealing the wood.. Use a kilz for a primer and then a 2 part epoxy paint for finish and sealer.. nothing will get through the stuff..
