Gonna try a deep sandbed and want to know if I can add a 1/2" a week to the existing sandbed to get to 4" or do you think I should remove old substrate. Old stuff is coarse, maybe 2-3mm, and 1"-1...

Yeah I got an e-mail from Inland Aquatics saying they would ship but since 9/11 and the possible flight delays they dont guarantee live arrival.

Yeah this seems to be the case. They're are a couple places in the states but they don't seem to ship to Canada. I think your suggestion might be my best bet. Thx.
