Sorry to hear that Seriak. I had the same thing happen to me a while back. I'm convinced it was hydrogen sulfide as UnderWorld pointed out.

Sam, I used the 3" AC fan from Radio Shack for my nano hood and it works great. I paid $28 for that one so it's still kinda big $$$$. I'd bet a used computer fan would do the trick just as well if...
