Dont do it
Dont use the hob overflow. Drill the tank and put a bulkhead in, it will save tou the worry of wondering if the siphon fails

Hello all
Setting up a larger sump and adding a refugium with carib sea mineral mud.
Can you just have the mud or do you need a fine sand substrate ontop?
Any help would be great
