:cool: I almost threw it out, then I remembered you can switch pumps :biggrin:

I didn't know that the pumps from the AC300 and AC500 were compatible. As far as I know, the AC150-AC300 use the same pump with different impellers... where as the AC500 uses a larger, different pump.

I think the idea is to kick it down a notch...for a 'fuge.

That idea works perfectly for an AC300. Just replace the AC300's impeller with an AC150's impeller. Thats what I'm using right now. However, I don't think it will work on an AC500... I have one sitting in the basement right now, and just comparing the two pumps, you can immediately see a size difference... maybe I'm wrong though?

Guess I was guessing - haven't actually seen them side by side...

Requires further investigation. But I do have other 150 impellers also...
