ID Please
I found this critter crawling on the liverock. It's the roundish slug-like thing to the right or the birdsnest frag. I tried to grab it and it started crawling at warp speed and hid in a crevice. It's about 1 inch long by less than 1/2 in wide. Can the ID gurus chime in please?

Your description sounds like stomatella snail...is it in your pics somewhere?
|
Yes, it's in the middle of the picture, to the right of the birdsnest frag. It's light grey/white. I don't know how to draw on the photos, or else I'd circle it....

I see it, that's a Stomatella snail. They reproduce in the aquarium and are good grazers. Peppermint shrimp will often decimate a population.

Thanks guys, you rock! That's why I love this site....
