Green Branching Hammer Coral, Vernon
I managed to crack my colony in half the other day while tooling around in the tank! So up for sale is a good sized (close to 10 heads) frag. Relatively easy to keep & a nice addition to most any system. There are a few dead heads that have become victims of my GBTA. These may be removed or stay on, buyer's choice.
Let's say $15. For anyone on the west coast that may be interested, there is the possibility of having it delivered by an aquaintance of mine traveling back to White Rock next weekend. First photo taken quite a while ago of another frag I sold from the same mother colony. Gives a good idea of the colour etc. Taken under MH/T5HO. The tank has been under LEDs for over a year & everything acclimated very well. https://tsl4pa.blu.livefilestore.com...er3.JPG?psid=1 A more recent shot of the colony under blue LED lighting. You would be getting the left half of this. Several of the lower heads on this are the ones that have been ravaged by my BTA. https://ojcrhq.blu.livefilestore.com...86e.JPG?psid=1 And a crappy FTS with dirty glass under low level dawn/dusk effect LED lighting, but it's fairly recent & gives a good perspective of the colony in a 4 ft tank. It expands quite a bit once the lights are on full bore. You will not see the gaps between the heads. Again, the left half of the colony is what's up for sale. https://ojcrhq.blu.livefilestore.com...72e.JPG?psid=1 I can throw in some green star polyps and/or brown palys for free. |
Still have this, bump.

Although the half colony for sale here finally sold, if anyone is interested, I'd be willing to frag off a few more heads for $5. They're still getting a bit of grief from my BTA and some GSP is also encroaching, but that can easily be scraped off. These heads would benefit from being in another tank where they're not getting beat up by the competition!
This photo was taken earlier in the year under Blue LEDs. The lower 3-4 heads are pretty much dead & bare, but the ones above those are still in good shape. https://ojcrhq.blu.livefilestore.com...86e.JPG?psid=1 |
