you know you have big horsepower when you break the damn dyno! wow

sphelps 05-28-2013 02:08 PM

Luckily it was just a mustang  In all reality I think a Prius could have done the same thing. That's just bad equipment or setup not too much HP.

Yupp. and you're not suppose to do 200mph on a crappy dno either. Mega fail

Silly Mustangs. Good thing my TA wasnt on there. Woulda shattered the back end of that Dyno!

spit.fire 05-28-2013 05:35 PM

My minivan could have done that

There is a crazy high pitched win in the video. I dont hear a waste gate blow off at any point so i would imagine it must be the bearing failing from when he started on the dyno.

I dont care what kind of car it is, that would suck if it was yours!

I had an exhaust shop drive my rod off one of the drive on lifts.
Lift was at ground level and literally no damage was done... save both my and the shop owners soiled shorts :)
Apparently he wasn't ready for the torque, despite multiple warnings.

I am not car fan at all cars suck its trucks or nothing at all

But in all seriousness it's lucky nobody got any shrapnel in them I saw a dyno failure in the states a few yrs ago it actually sent one of the dyno wheels 200+ feet behind it into the windshield of a car.
