Hi I have just bought a clamp on lamp for my sump tank (30 Gallon) and i was wondering what type of light bulb i should buy? Could somebody help Please! It is not a tube bulb. Thanks!

Probably just a flourescent screw in type.Just for growing algae i presume?

Get one of the CFLs meant for growing plants (assuming you are trying to grow chaeto). You can get them from gardening stores for $15ish
