Ca and alkalinity

Tested my tank tonight.

CA - 470 ppm
alkalinity - 11.6 dKH

Ph - 8.3

both using salifret.

Is this ok (as I think alkalinity is high ) ?

Sounds fine. Some people are suggesting that 11.6 is a bit high for SPS, but others have run that level for a long time.

My Alk usually runs about 12 or 13, never had a problem with it, I do keep my Ca around ppm now.. for some reason I seam to get better growth on the corals than when it was higher.
