RIP yellow eye
Lost my yellow eye kole tang today. :( Had him for over a year. He ate like a pig as he always does at 10 this morning. Came home from work around 3 this aft and he was upside down at the bottom corner of my tank. No marks on him, everyone else swimming around doing fine, nothing else seems amiss...

That sucks. Sorry for your loss. I would hate to lose my Kole tang. He is the best algae muncher I have ever had.

Sorry to hear that man. Always sucks when there seems to be no apparent reason for the death.
Keep your head up! |
Thanks everyone. Ya it's weird. What do you do? But you can tell the fish think something is wrong now. He was one of the more active fish, and because I'll be setting up my 210 hopefully soon, I haven't been getting anymore fish. I recently gave the 2 schooling banner fish back to their owner and now the Yellow eye is gone, the other fish are really shy now. There's only a flame angel, 2 clowns and a starry blenny in the 77 and I think without the other fish swimming around they think there's danger in the open and they seem to be very skittish and whenever I come near the tank they all hid in the back now. Hopefully they'll get used to the reduced activity.
