How often do you clean the residue out of your kalk dosing bucket's?

A bit of back ground of why I am asking;
I have 2 IO buckets that I add my top off water with kalk in and it is attached to a float valve in my sump.
I use Ball's Pickling Lime and havent changed/rinsed out my bucket in a few month's.

So back to the original question, Let me know!

When I was on Vacation in the Okanogan I drove down to the US and picked up 18 1lb tins for super cheep.
