So I just quickly drew up this sump design which is 30g for my 75 g main tank. Tell me what u guys think and if I should change anything to make it better

Is it possible to use just a 20g tank for sump or is 30g better?

OOPS sry lol.. anyways heres my first sketch of my sump design and how it will work. Water going into my sump will first go through a gate valve then into the first area which is going to be 2 filter socks side by side with an overflow on top. Water then travels down into a carbon bag which will be placed in acrylic floor with tons of large holes drilled into it. Then down into my skimmer into my first set of baffles into the refugium. What plants do u guys recommend me to get? Then water will go into 2 sets of baffles with a heater in it then to return pump with a check valve incase of power failure. Should i put a union on both return n inlet line? thx

should i lower baffle heights to lower water level or that should be good?
