Center brace fix ?

I just discovered that my center brace has pulled free of the silicone on my tank :( I have a 90 gallon rimless tank it's been set up for about five years . I have emptied about 20 gallons to relive some pressure as the back of the tank was bowing out. My question is do I just use regular aquarium silicone to repair the brace and how long would it need to dry before removing the duct tape that I have holding my tank together ? Any tips ? Thank god for duct tape

Wow, that sucks :surprise:

In your shoes, I'd use a ratchet bar clamp to hold the glass, and let the aquarium-safe silicone set for a week
You can get by with less time (2-4days), but why rush it when you already have the clamp in place ?

I am just glad I caught it before the wave box kicked in tomorrow . 90 gallons of water crashing into my tenants suite not good . For the first time ever I am questioning my wave box .
