Ricordea and it's foot question
I have a beautiful green ric that split last month
The new piece has attached itself nicely to my LR, but the original critter is still on a piece of rubble that I'd like to remove from the DT as the weird shape of it makes the ric look like a tent I've tried prodding the foot and then repositioning the rubble, but it just keeps hanging on for dear life, or falling on the sand It's so strong, it actually broke the Coral Glue on the rubble free of the LR during splitting Any tips on getting it to move ? Thanks for any insights Here's some pics of the split in action Original piece http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/DSC01502.jpg Splitting http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/DSC01567.jpg More splitting http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/DSC01577.jpg Split complete The original piece is very small right now as I was prodding it yesterday http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/x...d/DSC01615.jpg |
Dude just leave it it will flatten out once it's sorted out

I've never had much luck with it. For me I'm afraid to damage to coral, I managed to get one off once by putting it into high flow and it got ticked enough that it moved itself then while it was loose I put it where i wanted it. Not sure that's the best method.
It's not quite as easy as with anemones. |

Well, maybe I'll have to consider trading it for another color before it attaches to the LR
