Sand bed

I just moved and went from crushed coral to shallow sand bed. The tank has been sitting for a day still very murky. How log should it take to settle so I can put the inhabitants back in. Any thought would be great.

Thanks in advance

You could put them in now. It will take a few days to clear completely, but the fish should be fine as long as they can see reasonably well.

I can't see through the tank is this still to early to put them in or do you think it will be alright?

I've never had problems adding things back in with a cloudy tank. If you're really concerned run floss somewhere in your system like sump, overflow, canister, or those hang on the back filters work great too.

as long as you can see a few inches into the tank it should be fine... or if you have it set up now that you can afford to keep them out a couple days then do that if it makes you feel more comfterable.

If it's dirty water, you will have an ammonia cycle. Good to wait a bit, imo.
