hey guys/gals,
I thought I had clown eggs on the back side of my Torch coral BUT... I turned it around to check and I'm not too sure what it is.

Here are 2 pics of the back side of my Torch. The stuff I am wondering about is the "red" area on the skeleton of the coral. It looks like little red circles, that's why I thought it might be eggs lol

...is it just new skeleton that the coral is growing? I started dosing ALK not too long ago.

Looks like a sponge to me.

Snail eggs maybe:neutral:

it looks like there is "old growth" below the red... it's the same thing but just white and it fades up into the red. pretty sure it's not any type of egg though
