help with anemone
well its my first one and im 99% sure its a condy, it was cheap and looks the same.My problem is that ive now had it for about 5 days and he has been moving around my tank alot.Yesterday morning he found a spot that he apparently likes(hes been there for 24 hours)but it is in the darkest corner of my aquarium.I came home from work today and hes shrivelled to 1/3 his size and turned a greenish gray color. So I think he will be a goner for sure.My tank is a 33 gallon with one domino damsel,1 blue green chromis,1 emerald crab, one peppermint shrimp and a large turbo snail. There is a 3 inch lsb and about 25 lbs of lr.Levels are all good and the lighting is power compacts.Any comments or suggestions would help.

Well yuor aneome is probaly a gonner but it might live just watch it you can always manualy pull it out of the corner

Is your anenome spitting out its guts? Is its foot still firmly attatched to something? It might not be dead, just getting use to the new environment. If you do decide to pull it out though, give it a sniff. If the smell makes your eyes water and your nose bleed, then its dead.

I would try, moving it to where you want it,then duplicate the flow of water it is receiving where it is now. Mine didn't like lots of water flow but when it found aplace it liked (behind the rocks) I just checked out the current and tried to match it and the rock formation to its liking and it worked for me and it. Good luck. Also test your water parameters.

How is your anemone doing now? I have a condi and every time I take it out of my tank to do work he gets really ****ed at me and barfs a bit. Give it some food and tell it to shut up, he'll be OK!
