JBJ nanocube 28!

Hi all,

I have read and researched a lot, and was able to find the dimensions of a JBJ Nanocube 28 = 18x22x22 high. Not a single website explained that measurement any better.

My question is when standing in front of the tank and looking at it, is left-to-right = 18 or 22? Similarly is front-to-back = 18 or 22?

I have a sunpod 150W fixture that has legs that only extend to 20" and was hoping to purchase a nanocube 28 and use the sunpod with it, but if 22 is left-to-right, then I can't do that.

Thanks for your help.
fresh.

your sunpod is 20 inches but the legs can extend a few inches from both ends increase or decease in length. My 48inch sunpod does the same, it allows you to extend a couple of inches from both sides. I'm sure you will have a few more post from ppl with 20inch sunpods with nano tanks.

you are correct, but even with the leg increase, it is under 20.75 inches.

Left-to-right is 18"

Thank you so much, and welcome back I guess :)

Given that you built a stand for it, I am pretty sure you are the best at confirming that 18" is left-to-right :)

Thx and good luck with your hunt! Unless these tanks are in basements I think open top is a smart move.
