Pocillipora sweeper tentacles

Has anyone else seen these?
I have a pocillipora coral that has a blue mushroom growing beside it, and at night time only, the SPS is sending out what I am calling sweepers, in the immediate vicinity of the mushroom.
I've tried taking night pictures of it, but the coral is at the back of the tank, and every picture I try turns out to be out of focus.
Pocillipora's are "fuzzy" enough during their regular feeding, but these "sweepers" are at least 2 or 3 times as long.

I can try to take some better pictures of it, if someone can give me some night-time-picture-taking advice.

I've got a Nikon coolpix 995 and also have a separate hand held flash available with a flash activated "slave"

Or maybe this is just a regular occurrence.....and I wasn't in class that day....

Sounds normal. Mine get really long sweepers at night.

My pocillopora has sweepers out during the day sometimes in sections of high flow. They're not super long but they're out.
