Sooo nice, I wish I had cabinetry like this around my tank curious did you do it yourself? buy it or have it custom done. I like the way it hides everything to the tanks right.

Free bump.

I made it myself, my wife insisted that if I build it no stray light would shoot around the room like previous tanks and it be as quiet as possible. It addresses both fairly well.

After the doors come off there are about 6 panels that skin the framework. The framework is just some 2x6's and 2x4's, nothing all that complicated.

It is OBO, make me an offer!

Yeah the framing isn't where I come into problems! Its all the skinning and finish carpentry where I hit a road block. What did you use for the skinning? just normal plywood? Oak? obviously its stained and thats not a problem either its just getting it to that point. Do you mind laying out your build in detail? What worked/ what you would change steps and materials? PM would be fine sorry for hijacking your thread with the questions!!

It's stained Maple plywood with solid Maple trim.

I don't really have time to post in detail but will go into great detail with anyone who wants to buy it as we take it apart.

I'm taking it apart this Friday & Saturday so if nobody wants it by then I will just have a tank for sale on Monday.

Cheers!

So sad this is up for sale. This was one of my most favorite tanks ever for the "all in one" look and feel. If you were closer we'd be making delivery arrangements.
