runnin pellets with no skimmer question
 

hey, i am just starting to run pellets . i disconnected my uv sterilizer and started to see a few dots on my hippo, i dont think its ich. they have come along time ago and as soon as i disconnected uv, it came back.. i was wondering though how long can i turn off my skimmer if i am gona try herbtana, to see if it fixes that problem with the hippo??

You need to run your skimmer when running pellets period. If your going to treat the tank take your pellets off line but don't leave them in the reactor. Take them out of the reactor, rinse them & let them soak in RO water until you are ready to get them back online.
