Need Coraline Algae....(EDM)
 

Looking for a few pieces of super purple rock to make scrapings of for our new set up....
Anyone have any? I can't seem to find good good purple rock in stores.

Im not sure about PurpleUp - on the fence - its a calcium/iodine supplement with tiny particles of aragonite...

You still need a piece of rock with purple coraline algae on it to scrape every few days. Your also supposed to put it in a high flow area.

I'm trying to propogate with just keeping my parameters in check, low nitrates, very low phosphates seems to be key. I'm also dosing a two part solution.

What I would like to know is if PurpleUp actually works or not cause I'll buy some too if a few on here with experience could tell us.

Yeah purple up has never done anything for me ever.

Get a super purple piece of rock, have good calcium levels and good light and it should spread like wildfire.

I need a super purple rock for sure!
Purple is a good product, but Coraline needs to be present for it to actually work-- I got no purple, all dry rock. Lol
