co2 canister where to fill

Hi all,

Where is a good place to fill co2 canisters around Vancouver? I've been on the phone all morning searching and so far found nothing. Thanks

I'd probably just look for fire safety places that fill extinguishers, I've always got mine filled at these types of places.

Have always used Royal City Fire Supplies on 12th in New West. Great Service and they can fill your own bottle. Lot of the other big places just wan't to do a exchange.

Here is the info I've found after many phone calls, hopefully it is helpful to someone. I ended up going to Royal City, it was quick and easy, staff were knowledgeable, and I'd definitely recommend them.

Royal City Fire Supplies 633 Twelfth St New Westminster, BC

cost to fill 10lb 21.35
5lb 18.95
0-ring costs $1.62-$3 depending on type needed.
Can fill M-F must be there before 4:15.

Hydro testing needs doing every 5 years, is engraved along cylinder. Costs 19.95, takes a day or two.

Interior Fire and Safety 5-7201 72 St, Delta, BC
Hydro testing takes a day or two. Cost $24

cost to fill 10lb 28
5lb 18.23

KMS Tools 110 Woolridge Street Coquitlam, BC
cost to fill 10lb 29.95
5lb 15.95
Go to the back welding/shipping area and ring bell
Can fill any time, takes about 5 minutes.

Air Liquide 23 231 Fraserwood Way Richmond, BC
Can only fill at their Richmond location, as long as the cylinder meets it's hydro static test date. Depends on time of day if they're able to fill.

Badlands Paintball 427 E. Columbia St New Westminster, BC
cost to fill $5 per lb
If he's able to fill or not depends on the thread pattern on the cylinder- course thread that only goes around a few times tends to be 1/8" thick and he cannot fill that.
Finer thread that looks like a standard screw he may be able to adapt to and fill.

Advance fire and safety - they do not fill
ML Mechanicals - they do not fill
