Clark Feed and Seed
Does anyone know much about Clark Feed and Seed in Bellingham wa, and what the regs are about bringing live stock back (fish and corals etc.).
|
Fish may be ok (as long as NOT CITES restricted) but definitely NOT corals.
|
Soft corals are fine. Just no stony corals.

I was trying to make some sense of the CITIES website and I left with a headake (this could also be after a night of very little sleep and a day of work in front of my monitors)

Basicly, declare your animal, make sure its not a CITES animal or an animal on the susceptible species list. If you know what kind of fish youre bringing over, have some info on it printed out a head of time to prove scientific name/id. Clark's has those old style Tills that the receipt really just shows what you paid, not an item/animal name. |
depending on the species though.
If the fish are captive bred in the USA its fine. You need prof of that. If not, you need a USFW export permit also ($185) as they did not originate from the USA. Softies are allowed, but need to be on plugs, not live rock, as live rock requires CITES ($265) |
