That is a very interesting looking critter! No idea what it is, though.
|
Looks like an alien. :P
|
What is that???!!!$&@&$&&$
|
Very interesting! What's mouth look like & I can't notice if there is any gill from the photo or I'll think that it looks like a bat fish of some kind.
|
I'm thinking that it is a sea slug of some variety.

It is Glaucus atlanticus.
Despite their often dubious content, here's the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glaucus_atlanticus Here is the WoRMS entry: http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.p...ails&id=140022 Edit: According to this article (http://www.seaslugforum.net/find/glauatla) they feed almost exclusively on Physalia (hydroids). It is probably not a good choice for an aquarium, as food could be in short supply (unless one has a booming population of colonial hydroids . . . though I think these guys prefer the Portuguese Man of War). |
I feel these would be very hard to keep alive for any long length of time!
You would also first have to find one haha |
Too bad its diet is so strict, its so beautiful
