Firefish issue

My firefish seems to have hurt his top dorsal fin :( he is a juvi so he isnt very large about 1.75"- 2" but I see that his feen looks a bit ripped yet a slim almost see through bone is still at the top passed the rip on the skins surface. Is this fin-rot? or did he just smash into a rock and pull some skin off? He is behaving normal swimming around, hiding in his corner. any suggestions?

can you snap a pic of the wound?

Do you have 1 or 2 , we have a pair of purple firefish, once in a while they beat the crap out of each other.

I've had filefish and bangaii cardinals do ths before. I think injurys in fish with long thin spikey dorsas isn't uncommon. I'm sure he will be just fine.

I figured plus he did come from a tank where there was two of them so its possible he had the injury before hand . I just wanna makre sure it doesnt continue to desintigrate

FUNGUS??!?!?!?!?!?!? helpp!

Ok so his fin looks like it has gotten small but not as broken/torn looking. and his face seems to have developed some sort of scrap. Almost looks like a small fuzzy cotton ball, I assume its a fungus of some sort, or since he is white in the face possibly he just scrapped his mouth, he can still "yawn" or open his mouth wide, he is still active and eats. (just fed him a large chunk of mysis) does anyone know what it could possibly be? and if its what I suspect what will treat fungus without killing corals and inverts. :( I will attempt to put up a picture if possible, he is kinda camera shy. Thanks for the help
