Vortech Wavebox
 

got bore today and decide to make an MP10 wavebox.

Quick note, tank is 24X24X16. MP10 puts out enough flow of the coral, but, couldn't make any waves. till now

next attempt.. mp40 wavebox in the 210.

Any DC pump with a controller should work. And the reason I use the Vortech is because I only have vortech in my system and with it I can build lower profile box, please maybe even glue on some frag rack.

Is it quieter than the Tunze wavebox ?

nope.. you will still get the dry side noise. However, it's possible to run at lower power and create the wave. Vortech is fairly quite at 80% power.

I dont think that word "quiet" goes together with ecotech pumps....:mrgreen:

Oh he is got a symphony al'right. You should ask him how many mp40's he got on his tank. I have to bring my own microphone just to carry a conversation with him.

that's the sound of power and good flow. Louder exhaust means more horse power right?
