Mag float pads

Has anyone replaced the cleaning pads on their mag float? Just wondering if it is worthwhile or just better to buck$--up and get anew float?

I bought replacement pads and it was much more economical than replacing with new magfloats and worked like it's brand new.

I bought replacements to 2 mag floats through JL, very inexpensive and easy to do. Like brand new again.
