Need some advice on Leopard Wrasse feeding
My Leopard Wrasse stopped eating Mysis shrimp , he only eats brine shrimp now. I am worried because the brine shrimp dose not have enough nutrition to keep him healthy !
What do you feed your Leopard usually ? http://i735.photobucket.com/albums/w...AD0D71ACF5.jpg Sorry I couldn't get better shot with iPhone camera! Thanks Arash Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |
soak your brine shrimp in selcon, or get the enriched brine shrimp until they pick up interest in mysis again.

+1.....if your going to feed brine, it's best to soak it in some kind of a vitamin/amino supplement......brine shrimp is like candy.....it's not really good for them, but all fish love it.........you could also try soaking the mysis in garlic....the garlic acts as an appetite stimulant..... it's somewhat odd that it stopped eating the mysis.....is it in with any aggressive fish?....how long have you had it?

Selcon will do just fine.

live white worms. Mine went crazy for them.

I feed mine 2 types of mysis, blood worms, chopped clams, and seaweed. I soak them in reef plus and garlic.

My potters wrasse pretty much only takes pellets but he'll eat capelin roe when I add them for the anthias. Try fish roe. Most of my fish go bananas for them and they're better than brine.
