LF: Rics (Calgary)

I'd like to try a ric or two in my tank. Not choosy about colour. Want to find some locally.

Thx!

talk to Snappy. I'm getting some from him too.

Reef_Geek 08-04-2012 04:14 PM

oops. I'm getting Rhodactis from Snappy, not Riccordia. nm

Enigma 08-04-2012 08:51 PM

 No worries. I asked Snappy two weeks ago if he had any rics, and he didn't at the time. I thought maybe he was holding out on me. ;)

I do have one of his orange anyone of his green rhodactis mushies. The colors are great. I'm sure you'll enjoy them!

Reef_Geek 08-05-2012 05:17 AM

yup. That's exactly what I got from him, one of the orange and green ones. Photo attached. Not yet fully opened from transport but looking good so far!

Bump.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I'd love to try a ric or a yuma. I was going to order some online, but unexpected (storm related) RV awning repairs have slaughtered my budget.

Has anyone seen any locally?

They have some nice ones at Big Als right now. In the bigger tanks above the LR holding tanks. A few different colors.

I got this from Gold Aquarium. They still had some about 2 weeks ago. They're loose in their bare bottom tank. You may have to point them out to the guy and ask how much... I paid $20 for this guy about 1.5" in diameter.

Thanks. Very pretty. :) I'll check there this weekend if Big Al's is out (I live much closer to Big Al's than Gold's).

I've heard that rics can be quite fussy, so I just want to try one to start: to see how it likes my system. I'd love a dozen of them if all goes well with the first.
