Galaxy ballast vs aqua medic
 

I've got both ballasts dual 250w hqi but both of them have one side burnt out. The aqua medic isn't under warranty and I don't have a receipt for the galaxy

I was thinking of just combining the two to make one and I'm wondering If this is a good idea or if I should just run two boxes.

I plan to use them to run a coralife aqua light pro

So after some tinkering I managed to get both sides of the aqua metic to work, now if only I could get the galaxy to work

on of my galaxy duel 250 ballast ports stopped working too, what sort of things are you troubleshooting in the ballast, looks pretty closed up when i opened it.
