LF: Urchins Calgary
Looking for a good deal on a few urchins to clean up a now algae invested tank. Anyone in Calgary looking to sell due to size or disruption please let me know.
Thanks! |
If you can't turn any up from a hobbyist, and if you're willing to shop at Pisces, they have red and blue Tuxedo urchins ($30 each). I've purchased a blue one from them and will be going back for one or two more.
I can tell you that the one I purchased there eats some bryopsis. I may have two strains . . . they look a little different, and behave differently to H202 levels. It may only be eating one of the strains. |
Hey Steve sorry to hear about your tank I've got a million stomatela snails and chitons your more than welcome too I've also got a truck load of frags for you once your ready:)

I have a black spine urchin that I wouldn't mind rehoming. He is large though; probably at least a foot and a few inches in diameter. Eats through algae like a champ.

I saw Collector urchins a Big Al's as well.
