How do you measure nutritional value and potential die off in these bottles?
How do I keep all the life alive in the bottle? |
live foods
refrigerate them-it slows down their cycle.rotifers can be refrigerated for more than a week.to bring them back to full metabolism, undo the cap and let them sit for four hours.phytoplankton can be stored for a month in the fridge.for both they should be shaken twice a day so the cells don't smother, and the rotifers, don't settle too much.not sure about copepods as i just started them ,but refrigerating them should slow them down as well.you can also freeze phytoplankton for up to three months
