Hahaha I just got an email... CANADA DAY CORAL SALE one day only! open 12-4 pm... I got the email at 4:05 pm:mrgreen:

whats the point of being open that short? if i was a store owner i would maximize the opportunity of being open on a long weekend.

Being in the industry i know that long weekends are completely hit and miss at lfs. Sometimes they have a little more flow than usual, but often they are slower than a regular weekend.

Also being that a fish store is a specialty destination store, most consumers will change their day to make it there during the designated hours they are open. I would venture a guess that the store that was open from 12-4 made the same money they would have from 10-5.

In addition to that a lot of stores are one or two man operations, and hey, even they need a little bit of time off too.

Just trying to play devils advocate.

The fact that the email was received after the sale is beyond me
