Was wondering if these fish are clam safe. I know crabs shrimp and snails are doomed

No they are not clam or snail safe.

I was wanting to borrow one as last resort to getting rid of Sally lifhtfoots as all my traps have failed

Mine never even looks at the clams...im guessing cause they are large. Tiny ones would probably be considered Lunch.

Yeah I've got to many to chance. I have a buddy who says we can make a "real" crab trap out of Popsicle sticks and mesh. So I'll try that lol

Betcha those clams were in the tank before the Tuskfish. If you added a new clam he'd probably have it for lunch.
