2012 tank shots: 120 gallon mixed reef
 

Hey everyone, it has been a while since I have put some full tank shots up!

So here it is! This is my 120 gallon seastar display that has been set up since January, but moved to a new location in march, so it is still young! I have a 40 gallon Seastar sump below it, with a 20 gallon cheato/ mangrove/ oyster/ banggai breeding refugium. I use a DIY LED lighting that runs around 300 watts of light, it has a mix of royal blue, blue, cool white, white, green and red cree LED's and I am hoping to add some UV LED's this summer. I run a Skimz sm201 as well as carbon. It is really a simple system, I try not to run anything to weird, and just stick to what works!

Some awesome stuff there the new acan is rad.

The one from Greg is A. abrotanoides and most can't keep it coloured at all so yours is doing GREAT. I also have one that is very much alive... but totally lacks the red and hasn't grown much.

Thanks! I can never remember the name of that one. It is so finicky, it will be fine one day and have no color the next! Amazing but weird coral.

Great talking with you yesterday! Very nice setup...like the rockscape, and really like the refugium,thought that was cool!
