Help ID this nudi
Found this guy crawling across my rocks so I quickly moved him to the sump.
Off white in color, with brown dots all over, approx 2 inches long, and it has the little "flower" on its tail end. The pictures are hard to see but it was the best I could do in the dark. http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...s/IMG_6850.jpghttp://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...s/IMG_6849.jpghttp://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...s/IMG_6848.jpg |
Doesn't really look like a nudi to me. Could be wrong though

Baby sea hare?

It would be better if it was in water so that everyone could see what its appendages look like. If it has gills on its back the way you describe it certainly seems like it must be a nudibranch to me. 'Nudibranch' means 'naked gill'.

Ya I know it would be better in the water, but my sump has worms and feather dusters all over the glass so you can't see anything and I didn't wanna go back to my display.
No ideas? |
