crazy looking shrimp....looking for name

I bought a crazy looking shrimp today at Wai's. Never seen one before. Anybody know the name of it?

From the picture, it looks like a member of Gnathophyllum genus. The most common species of that genus is G. americanum (bumble bee shrimp). But yours doesn't look like a bumble bee. If I have to guess, it's probably a G. elegans.

Strange the LFS could not tell you the name.

He told me "purple legged shrimp", but I thought it might have been a little more technical of a name.

If its a member of the same genus as bumble bee shrimp keep an eye on it. Bb shrimp will eat the tubular feet of stars, urchins, etc. Just fyi.
