question about sand
 

so i picked up 80lbs on caribasea reef special grade sand and im wanting to clean out all the debris before it goes in new tank. my question is if i clean now then throw it in new tank with out water for a couple weeks will the sand get mouldy? or should i just clean it and leave it in a bucket of water?
