180 IA Starphire Tank - NEW POST. REPOSTED WITH ADDED INFO

Its an InterAmerican 6x2'6"x2, eurobracing, starphire glass on all sides, grounded and polished edges, black silicone, exterior overflow with two 1.5" bh holes on one end, and two 1"bh holes one either side of the exterior overflow. The overall length is 2' 6" with the exterior overflow. Never used, still on the same pallet that it came in. Beautiful tank.

I am selling it because my wife have decided that she wants a couch to fit in beside the tank and it is 6 inches too long with the exterior overflow   . We got into a big fight about it but in the end and as usual, she is always right. But we compromised  that if I can sell it at a decent price, i'll get another one with the right dimensions. But if I can't, she will have to live with it.

I paid $1177 for it and I live in Surrey, B.C.. Make me a reasonable offer.

So if we give you unreasonable offers... $110! How's that!

Is there any way you could just remove the end overflow and put in the back, that way you could both be happy

removing the overflow

No i can't  cuz then my living room would be the overflow. Its unfortunate she didn't bring this up when I "consulted" with her initially. Women..........

Tell her to suck it up, her veto date has passed. Can you tell I'm not married?

I am not married, but I know that absolutely will not work  Have you ever heard the words "cut off"

Oh boy Bob, this is a good discussion for the drive to Edmonton. A big pet-peeve of mine. It will suffice for now to say, that cliche is only significant if we allow ourselves to act in the way that it dictates we act. The research shows that men do spend a significantly larger amount of time thinking about sex. But it shouldn't enslave us, literally or figuratively. (Of course now we have to talk about the hypothalamus being an old brain structure and how it controls the higher cortices - here's a good topic for Beth and I to discuss, both being psych geeks).

Apologies in advance for using words like "hypothalamus" and "cortices".

I am assuming that "cortices" is the plural of cortex.

Oh, and BTW. once again it would be Beth and me. Remember if you take Beth out of the sentence it becomes" a good topic for I to discuss". That just won't work.
