A living aquarelle painting
Here is my new addition, a Tahiti Ultra maxima clam. It's like a watercolor painting really...the way the colors are mixed together.
Paid 200$ with taxes for a 5" 1/2 clam..I must be crazy :) I am getting clam addicted! At the beginning my copperband was kind of pecking at the shell and was showing a lot of curiosity to the clam itself I am glad to say that passed and it is now showing no interest, neither my trigger. That would be en expensive meal :( http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/y.../103_1908s.jpg |
thats a beaut!.....if your becoming a "clamaddict" have a look through this thread if you havnt already.... http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=64230

That's a pretty psychedelic specimen there! Love it.

Worth every penny, that thing is amazing! Congrats.

That's an amazing pick Daniella! Glad to hear it wasn't made into a quick meal, my CBB scares me daily in a search for morsels in the tank.

Ugh, I soo want clams again. But my Flame Angel I'm sure will have dinner with them... The Angel such a nice fish tho. But just got a open brain too. We'll see how he does with that I guess...

oh that's a shame. When I saw my copperband pay lots of attention to the clam and pecking at the shell, I was really wondering which one I would keep and between a 200$ clam and a 45$ CCB that I love, it would be a tough choice.
Good luck with your open brain, maybe he'll turn out just fine. I already had a crocea for a year and half and no one was touching it, that's why I got the maxima. Quote:
